Yeah, P.J., it gives you chords, but if you're a non-reader like myself, you don't even see the chords; you just "hear" them. I just watch them light up enough to see where the number ends. As far as the melody goes, I already know what that is, so I just play it. I can tell if what I'm playing is at least sorta right, cuz it fits in the chords I'm hearing. In the cases where I don't know the chorus (or bridge or whatever) I just listen to the chords and make something up that fits into them. That's why, a lotta times I'll admit, I don't know the whole number, but play it anyway.
