Hey People,

Congratulations! What a great site for Chromatic Harmonica!

First of all, sorry for my bad English. I am brazilian and I like music so much, specially the brazilian one (Bossa Nova, Samba, Brazilian Jazz)! I have been trying to play my chromatic, but I think I should pratice a little bit more. So, take a look at my version of "WAVE". My brother is on Guitar. As it was one of my first video, I didn't get the right point to cut it. So, please go right to video time 1:10.

I would appreciate a feed back. Sorry for my english. Good Forum.

Nice job Jarbas!

For a while it looked like you were playing a B flat 12 holer in the E minor position, but I think you're using a C playing the piece in A minor. Either way, it sounded pretty good to me.

Congrats!

Nope, the tune is in D--major, and then it goes to Dm at the end of the A section.

Your right! This is exciting. I didn't think I could play that well in D major.  ha ha !

I must be gettin' like Spranklin (with only about 200 years to go  :D) Not knowing (or caring) what key he's playin' in.   8)

Cool Beans!  Nice stuff! Is that you on vocals too?

Two of those numbers "Autumn Leaves" and "Fly Me" are also on my next project!

Here's one of me breaking in my new Romello.

I just read the thread about Bill's passing.  I feel very fortunate to have bought one of his last harmonicas.

I am uploading two video's to youtube.  Both of the same song--a Felicidade.  The first one is with my new 12 hole PlanetOne and the second one is with a Super 64.  Of course they shouldn't be compared (apples and oranges) but I was disappointed with the PlanetOne.  It is airy on the low end and sounds tinny to me (no offense to the Hering players).  To me it is just another Chinese harmonica--not a good as a Swan.  Oh well....

Okay, looks like we're off to decent start.
I want to have a SlideMeister's YouTube page on the main site, so anyone can go there and click a link, see and hear a SlideMeister member, hit the "back arrow" and click the next one and so on.  If you already have one up there go back and be sure you put the word "SlideMeister" someplace in the description, okay?

Now, the rest of yous muggs, get somethin in there too. We only have ten so far, but wouldn't it be cool to have a hundred?  :D  Then we could rule the world! Mwoahahahah!

HI Garry,
Thanks for the positive comment. I did not use any mike, amp or effects . All I did was to play straight into a Fujifilm FinePix digital camera with video record on it.
Cheers Warren.

Here is my humble contribution. I recorded it a few weeks ago. Background music is plain midi karaoke.

Good job,

I liked it, karaoke seems like a good backup.
Do you read music or are you an ear player ?

Thank you, guys.

No, I don't play by ear. I usually look on the internet for good midi karaoke of the songs I like, than I use Rosegarden program to analyze midi tracks and I make tablatures, which I post on HarpTabs.com site for everyone to use. I've recorded couple of those songs for my friends on Facebook and I've posted "Hello" on YouTube. This weekend I'm thinking of recording few more, maybe "Dust in the Wind", "Don't Look Back in Anger" and one Greek song.
