This is actually a big deal :) Jai-Yi He is a phenomenal player and worth the effort to go out and see. You won't be disappointed.

Should specify that it's on Long Island, NY --in Commack - which is about Exits 56 - 57 on the Long Island Expressway (the LIE)
for New Yorkers.

I think they need to know who's coming in order to ensure they don't overbook the place. Wish I could go.

Fun fact --JiaYi tried out for America's got Talent some time back with his stacked tremolos. I honestly think if he'd played chromatic
instead he might have advanced further since they looked on him purely as a 'novelty' act.

It's a FREE concert. Wow!

Everybody in the neighborhood
should attend Jia's performance.

He's a slide harp superstar.

Thanks for the information.

Yes, he´s a virtuoso. As I like very much classical music played in harmonica I´ve followed Jiai- Yi by You Tube. A great player. Healthily envy those who can attend the concert.

I've seen him play Live quite a few times --most often at the Garden State Harmonica Festivals in New Jersey (when Val Redler and Phil Caltabellotta ran them). They were brilliant
smaller versions of Spah and brought so many great musicians to the Northeast (USA). Enrico Granafei worked with Val to bring so many international jazz musicians to the festivals as
well since many of them had played at his club Trumpets in New Jersey. I miss those days  - a lot! Luckily, Enrico attends Spah and is himself a great harmonica player, guitarist and singer.
