Many thanks for sharing these programs. It was interesting that you included Hermine Deurloo in your last program as I recall you telling me back in 1998 that you weren't too impressed with her jazz skills. I guess she's improved a bit since then! ;)

So far I've only had time to listen to the Toots interviews and music, but that was SO good! I've naturally heard other interviews with him over the years but not this one. Really nice, thank you.

PS: If you get a chance, check out something I posted from Toots under General chromatic here. It's from Michel Colombier's 'Dreams' album: 'Emmanuel' (written by Colombier).  Never saw the light of day on a Toots record, but
is oh so beautiful (and luckily posted by someone on YouTube).
 
In fact, the album is unavailable here in the US or in the UK. Due to Laina's help I was able to obtain copies of the
Dreams CD from France. The piece is short, but stunningly beautiful.

BTW i was able to purchase the Bill Evans and Toots colllaboration from amazon. I think they produce it on demand. Its called Affinity.      Brian
