The last section of this video demonstrates an expressive new version of a chromatic harmonica.
It's another example of the massive potential there is in the slide chromatic for constructing alternative versions to the stock standard fully-valved Solo tuned format. These variants may not be of interest to the majority of chromatic players, who are quite happy with what they have. But those few of us who use and enjoy alternate tunings know what hidden pleasures are available once you start changing a few reed pitches. The myriad extra possibilities certainly keep me endlessly fascinated :-)
