More than time you showed off those guitar skills. I LOVED this. :) It's fantastic to be able to play your own background
accompaniment when you choose. Now you can use this (if you want) to play over with the chromatic or harmonetta - at
some point. It sounds great as is but would also make a great practice background as well. Just play along (yeah, I know--
as if it's that easy, lol).

Well, the Boomerang was designed as a live looper, it has no way to store stuff.
Of course, the final mix down is still here as an mp3, but the final product is less important to me than the experience of creating it.

I heard it (in C#!) while shopping, played along with the chromatic I had clutched in my hand, and discovered it worked well in that key on chromatic.

Here’s La Vie en Rose, chromatic lead with MIDI bass and Harmonetta.
My intention is to be able to play chord melody on the Harmonetta, however I found this too difficult at my current skill level.
Hope you like it!

Thanks Laurent.
I made an effort to play the melody without ornamentation, it’s always tempting to throw in the button for fun, but this is a treasured melody and deserved respect.
Again, I very much appreciate your comment.

Out of Nowhere revisited—Harmonetta, lead on chrom and MIDI bass—two choruses, old timey rhythm, tempo creeps up by the end.

You are getting scary good! Now you just have to figure out how to play all of those instruments onstage all at once. :)
Quite the quandary. However, I can hear your chromatic playing being SO MUCH more free-flowing and easy than it was even a couple of short years ago. I suspect it's because you're not on film- since I think you might have a wee bit of stage fright as well,
possibly?

My dirty little secret: editing.
So there are multiple takes for each instrument, I decided the end product was more valuable than the car crash excitement of my clams.
You can still spot the odd clam if you listen carefully, however.

Thanks to all of you for putting up with my noodling.
Next up: a solo version of Ring of Fire on the Harmonetta.

I will try it in A just to see how it lays.
I’ve been practicing in C but I need to learn all the keys, obviously.

A is doable too.
The only tricky part of this song is doing the ascending thirds at the beginning.
In most keys, those two buttons are next to each other.
I am learning!

It's got a lot of potential--the trick is to KNOW where the notes are (sound familiar?).
