Maybe I make a bid, but the accordion I like "is not in playable condition"; I asked for a condition report and the auction house gave me this short comment, so maybe I make a very low bid or maybe not ...

Zwolle is around 200 km. from where I live. But I have the oppurtunitie to let my sister pick up the harmonica as I would buy something. Every day she passes by Hessing.

Congratulations, Bert!  You got a pretty good deal on those harmonicas.  Hopefully they don't need too much more to get them to playing condition.  I put some bids on several harmonica but they all went well above what I put down.  I was also worried about the other things like the extra charges including import fees to the US. 

Has anyone else won anything from this auction?

Auction cost are 30% plus, but shiping and import can  be expencive.

I orderd a power comb from England, cost about 30 euro including shiping, but import taxes are 10 euro.

The ones I  bought at the auction will be picked up by my sister wo lives in the neigberhoud of Hessink. And arrive at Sunday.

So for me no shiping cost.

And get them playable shouldend be a problem, I have just fixed a chordomonica 12.

Has anyone else won anything from this auction?

About the accordions, as I already have a HOHNER LUCIA (lot 1134) and a HOHNER PIROL (lot 1103), I refrained from bidding on these. The PIROL went for 60 euros (+ 30% + package + shipping), still a good deal, but the LUCIA went for 380 euros (+ 30% + package + shipping), too expensive, as similar ones are to be found sometimes on german ebay for very much less.

The one I wanted was a PAOLO SOPRANI 46/80 (lot 1020) but I asked for a condition report prior to the auction and the answer was "This accordion is not playable. on the side with the 46 keys, the keys aren't responding. How much work it is to fix this I can't tell you" so I just kept watching as he went for 90 euros (+ 30% + package + shipping).
