Roman sed: "Orthoscopic Knee Surgery tomorrow PM."

Yeah, yeah, excuse excuses! ;D

Just kiddin' bro.  ;) Now that I've officially started my eightieth year on the planet, I can say (among other things) "Been there and done that too!" Works pretty good, but it's still not a lotta fun! :P

Got my left knee done eight years ago and it's still doing pretty good. You just won't be able to kneel on it for the first year or so, after that, everything's pretty good. Had my left one "scoped" but my ortho sez: "There's nothin wrong with the right on that "a little metal and plastic won't fix." :P

You're welcome - and oh, yes. I somehow thought it was a natural progression, so, good to hear it's the opposite!  :D
Get well soon.
scotty
PS: my right knee 'acts up' just about every day now IF I step up with it first. Yowch! Try to remember not to do that, but it's natural so I keep forgetting then it lets me know LOUDLY. I'd do ANYTHING to avoid surgery - of any kind. My sympathies.

As relaxed as the meetings are, I think the tiny, remaining anxiety factor (that I keep on preachin' doesn't matter ::)) is there just enough to help with "stage presence" factor. No! No one else really cares but it works on the player's confidence. Confidence makes us relax and more likely to enjoy our music, (fun) and the more fun it is, the more we improve. It really ain't rocket surgery; just fun. :)

I would like to add my opinion as I joined my first meeting, with quite some trepidation, Thursday. I have been entertaining for many years, but not on a harmonica, and never on a Zoom meeting. Like everyone else, I was reluctant to get into a situation, like navigating a meeting with untested equipment, say nothing about what I was going to say or play.

Let me say this; I found the friendliest, most patient, and most helpful group one can hope for. There is absolutely no reason to hesitate because no one is an expert in these meetings, but we good naturedly try and get the bugs out as they are sure to occur..

I still haven't figured out my ability to get online and stay there for more than a few minutes (when I type I usually 'save' what I write so I don't have to do it all over again a few minutes later).

Anyway - after umpteen dr visits for all kinds of reasons (both of us) and Fred starting a cough a couple of days ago - turns out
he got Covid - again! So off to our dr. again this a.m. AND had an appointment to take Koda into our 'new' vet for a $564 follow-up. this afternoon. Now, tonight - he seems to be heading down that same 'have no idea where I am or what med I'm supposed to take' path, so I'm just a wee bit concerned and laser-focused on ensuring he doesn't screw up and take the wrong med at the wrong time. We've both been doing very well with our vaccines and boosters up till now but no one has the newest booster in 'yet'. Said it wouldn't be available for a couple more weeks. :( Fred's health is already not optimum so tonight was rough.

I'll have to put all of my 'stuff' on hold yet again and do my best to avoid getting it (so far so good). Another 'happy' birthday. Sigh. Hope to get to sort it all out re the Zoom one of these months. lol

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas or whichever Holiday you celebrate. Might not see you until the New Year.
Love and hugs everyone,
Scotty

Thanks, Age. As soon as I can get out from under all of this 'sturm und drang'. Now all of the dog and cat issues/feeding, etc
is falling on me since Fred is way off in Never Never Land again. If he's still like this tomorrow I'm calling an ambulance. :(
Fingers crossed the meds I already got into him tonight do their job.

I so appreciate knowing you're here. Truly.

love and hugs,
scotty

Scotty, we’re sorry Fred is going through this again and pray he recovers quickly with minimal suffering.  Your burdens seem more than you should have to bear so prayers for you also.
Two of my older sisters just recovered from a bout of Covid.  Fortunately it didn’t hit them hard.  Sandy and I have also had it twice and we are thankful it didn’t hit us really hard.
Blessings to you two this wonder season.
Be fair, be square and obey the rules of the pack.
