Commercial jingles make the best ear worms . . .
Stuck in my head is a melody with words that went, “Fashionable Fridgette, freshly designed, designed to refresh.”
Can’t find it anywhere on the internet.
Am I insane?
Prolly from the 50’s . . . Or early 60’s.

I have a great memory for trivial things like that. But your particular jingle rings no bells😱🤣

Gotta go with the "never heard of it" opinion. Prolly cuz I'm an easterner?

Bet ya never heard of P.O.C., Leisy's, Carlings, Erin Brew, Black Label or Clyde beer either. ;D

WE got a new Kelvinator, fridge when I was about 10, and Granny was still using it she passed away in 68. It's probably still running somewhere. ;D

Just sang it to my wife, she was born and raised in California, but had no memory of it.
It’s a swing tune, I might be able to post it here.

I remember Carling's and Black Label beers,
and had a few over the years.

But I don't remember the sales jingles you've
listed.

According to Wikipedia:
1840: Thomas Carling founded the Carling
Brewery in what is now London, Ontario.
Carling added Black Label beer in 1877.

Carling was sold to Canadian Breweries in
1930.  In 1934, O'Keefe Brewery was sold to
Canadian Breweries, renaming the merger
as Carling-O'Keefe.

In 1952, Carling-O'Keefe beers were first
sold in the USA. In 2005, Molson Brewery
bought Carling-O'Keefe, renaming the
merger as Molson-Coors.

There was no mention of the product jingle.

Best Regards, Beer 4-Ever

Yeah, I grew up exactly 0.81 miles from the Carlings brewery in Cleveland. They were the biggest as I recall. The others pretty much went outta business over the years. Iron City! Oh yeah, that was another one. Pretty sure they're gone too.

Now you’ve done it Doug.  I’ll be whistling all day now.  My wife thanks you. 🤭😮

Yeah, I can't believe forgot that old commercial, but as soon as I saw the opening, I started singing along, word for word. Now I remember thinking Mable was pretty hot. ;D

Yeah, now that I think of it, Budishka and I met (at her cousin, Billy's house) exactly three blocks south of Carling's brewery in Cleveland, when we were like fourteen. :)
