Wow, you noticed! :-). It's a C chrom (Konhsheng Lyra Gold), I bend the low C down to B (briefly) as best I can. Sometimes I hit it more in tune than others, always a bit of a challenge. And thanks for the wonderful compliment!

Same mic I've been using for "live" playing for quite a while. It's an Audix M1250B, a small "pencil" condenser mic which requires phantom power (attached to the back of the harp).

Signal Chain:
- ART tube preamp (mostly for the phantom power)
- Tech 21 Sans Amp preamp (mostly for EQ)
- Ernie Ball volume pedal
- Zoom multi-stomp (for reverb)
split:
- Mackie digital board (for in-room monitoring)
- MOTU 8 channel computer interface (for audio recording)

Yeah, I have an ART toobie too and it's kinda "meh" to me as well. It's definitely better than nothin, but it's not the sun and the moon.
