Likewise---I'm still worried about you, my friend. DON'T rush your recovery...you can't afford to let any of your wounds get infected
(trust me on this). If you saw what Fred is going through with two bacteria infections inside his surgical site--you might not be so
blase. I SO want you to get back to your full-on playing and hate that you have to suffer with this awful injury. You've been on my
mind so much lately. LOT of credit for playing so well, even while hurting so much. I think I forgot to tell you how much I loved this?

Wish I'd have paid more attention to my 7th grade shop teachers safety talks but hey, people who don't make mistakes don't get much done.
Don't worry Scotty, painful experiences taught me how to take care of wounds and I only have one hand to defend myself with so Linette won't let me get too far out of line. All the best to you and Fred

Hey there Danny, hows the hand coming along?
I know it's a slow painful process but just wanted
to say I'm thinking about you and really hope the
recovery goes as well as it can. Going into Winter
I hope you got all your firewood chopped & stacked.
I'm still amazed by that piece of music.
I really do like it. Mostly 1 handed but still 2 lips ;D ;D

Just got back from seeing the surgeon a few minutes ago. He says everything is looking good and to keep doing what I'm doing. I go back Nov 24 for x-rays and if the bones show that they're healing he's going to remove the pins that's holding everything together. I sold him a chromatic lol

They didn't use screws, only stainless steel wires to pin the bones in place until they grow back together

Danny that is so nice.  So expressive I almost cried.  And with essentially one hand.  Whew.  I feel your pain having been seriously injured on construction jobs.  Beautiful playing.  I'd love to see what you can do with it in month or two when you can use your whole body.
