I was talking about the guy sitting on the piano behind me. He's kinda thin. You're standing.

Turns out my wife took a few photos to prove that we did play at Danny G's. The skinny guy sitting behind me has been here a while.

Awww shucks, got a little teary eyed at the mention of Canadian sunset. I have a rendition by the late great Bob 'Fergy' Ferguson. Great guy. As matter of fact ALL the Canuckians are. Manfred, Ingo, Bob Higgins, Bob 'spanky' McFarlane, Ken Smith, Jimmy Grant, Bernie Bray, Mike Stevens. And a bunch more. All class.

Aaargh Joe....You juss saying that,eh? But thanks anyway,Maestro. a Jimmy and Mildred Mulcay and her husband is the recording I remember.
Come to think of it, what a blast it would be if you were to make your way to Ohio next year, the good Lord of course willing that we are able, WOW!!!

Forgot to mention in my essay that Al Smith was there and what a treat to see him. Alas he din't do any playing, but I had my eyes on him as he smiled when I put a little 'extra' into my playing.Definitely the elder statesman of the harmonica world!

I am prioritizing getting to your party next year, Danny.  Checking out old friends in Ohio now, might have someone I can stay with nearby.  Yippee.  see you at Spah!
