LOL! My "signature number" is being able to play every major scale and the chromatic scale on a "C" chromatic...

AND, I'm pretty happy that I can do that! It was quite an accomplishment for me.

-=Gabriel=-

Yeah that IS a good feeling. What's even better is when you find yourself actually playing along with a number only to realize that it's in B!  :o

Norwegian sunset / reodors ballade.

Hi Jeppe
I use to play Reodors ballade as a warm up before start playing. Together with a, I guess, unnamed little piano music from the Swedish movie "My life as a dog" from the 80's. The music are very soft and legato. Fantastic warmer. As for the movie "The Pinchcliffe grand prix", Theodore Rimspoke is a doll, the harmonica part are preformed by Sigmund Groven. I use to play it to get little support by Reodor/Theodore.

Now that I think of it, lately, it's probably Polkadots and Moonbeams, which is really weird cuz the bridge still gives me a bad time. :P

When I Fall In Love. Never without intro.

Bein’ just a guy who can play some songs: no tours etc. The only measure I got: well, if they like this, they like me, and if they don’t, it’s gonna be a long night. I guess that’s as close as I can figure to signature.

It’s my instrument test and warm up piece. It’s the first thing I play in practice. I kinda follow the chart, sorta. I could probably play it at my own funeral.

I think it surprises folks who expect harmonica music to lack hopefulness.

Oddly enough, or maybe not, it’s not my favorite.

Favorite instrument-Tenor sax and clarinet but a harmonica is always within reach.

It used to be "Struttin' with Bar B Q" but now it's "Sunny Side of the Street".  I transcribed and learned one of Lester Young's breaks to it.  I use bits and pieces of that solo and I sing it.  I also love Louis Armstong's solos on it.  I love the melody, the message and the feel.  And so many people know it that it's makes a good tune to get to know someone with.

Stay on the Sunny Side of the Street as long as you can folks (of course if you're in Florida you might need a sun umbrella, but I'm a yankee! haha)

The Nearness Of You

I love that song and it always make me think of "I Remember You".  Two really great love songs.
