YES! PROUD GRAN-UNCLE
« on: August 04, 2021, 05:04:02 PM »
My grandnephew, Steven Brault (a starting pitcher-lefty-for the Pirates), who was injured in SpringTraining ( lat strain) started today for the Pirates for the first time this year.  Had a good outing pitching 4 innings and giving up 1 run vs the Braves.  Also had a Sacrifice.  Batted over 300 last year (pinch hit 5 times - 500 average.)

Way to go, Franky!  BTW, what's the difference between a "grandnephew" and a "greatnephew"?

Thanks.

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines grandnephew as: "a grandson of one's brother or sister" and defines great-nephew as "grandnephew".
