Remind me, will ya?
« on: December 11, 2023, 12:23:29 AM »
I was thinking of letting some Hohner reedplates soak overnight in soapy water to clean the valves. I know I need to scrub between the valve layers, but are there any negative consequences for soaking a Hohner reedplate for 12 hours? The only problem I can think of is starting rust on the rivets.
-. What can you guys and gals tell me?

Don't do it!
You're likely to wake up to see all your valves laying in the bottom of the pan. :o
and those rusty nails are also a good possibility
