Looks like you guys had a great time. The miking laves a lot to be desired though.

I could "hear" a good performance, but that's just "sound guy" in me. sounds like they used the camcorder mic for the whole shootin match instredda taking a tap right from the board.

Yeah I actually had another sound recorder running, but it wasn't being monitored closely and suffered severe clipping. I just posted another tune from the same session, "In the Still of the Night". Polesky sat this one out, so its just me singing with the trio. But on this one I did a little post-processing, using some compression. Please check it out and let me know if it sounds any better.

A non-harmonica playing friend of mine sent me these clips of Larry Adler today. When I asked him whether he compiled these clips himself he replied "'twas i in response to some idiot who thought a yokel performing at carnegie hall was the greatest harmonica player."

Now I'm not the world's biggest fan of Larry Adler, but I must say I came away from these clips with a new respect and awe for the man. Please take a look. At least at the first clip on the list. You'll be glad you did!

Very impressive! Although, as I said in his comments, I'd rather hear it WITHOUT Bird in the background. Still an amazing feat. I don't know why I never heard of Prene before. Apparently he's based out of NYC.

I created this little video to demonstrate how, with just an Android phone, the IRealb app, and a Bluetooth speaker you can make remote location jazz videos! The marvels of 21st Century tech!

It's kind of noisy. I was in a location with quite a bit of traffic whizzing by. But it does have harmonica content after a couple of explanatory minutes.

Complex melody - the guitar/harmonica unison/harmony came off superbly. You had high tones jingling like bells.
