I love the idea of this new board because for me music is just fun: noodling, experimenting and fooling around with my harmonica is my preferred hobby. I love to play outdoor (sorry, never played in front of a PC, because I work with computer and I avoid it when not working). Now I'm trying to play onehand, this is my first trial in the wood.
This is "If I were a rich man" and I've never heard this song before last week, but it entered in my brain, so I had to try it. I hope you enjoy.

Hello, Barbino.

Your video tune, If I Were a Rich Man,
from the USA musical, Fiddler on the
Roof, was performed well.

On the move, outdoors!

I walk regularly, and your performance
has influenced me to try playing harp
on the move outdoors.

I also liked your arrangement of the tune.

Keep up the good work.

One more thing, how did you make the
high volume video recording outdoors?

Best Regards, Stay Healthy

After a search of Wikipedia, it was determined that bipolar bears exist. The Bipolar Bears is a musical group.

Thank you all for your feedbacks!

John, about the high volume of the recording, I don't make any treatment to the video: I recorded on the smartphone (samsung A71) using the front camera holding it with my hand, so the microphone was really close to the harmonica and then I uploaded it to Youtube. Sometimes I noticed that if you edit the video with some software, when you save the output, the volume could be lower than original.
But take in mind that in this video I'm playing a cx12 and I found it to be very very loud (I start playing outdoor because I'm scared about my neighbours reactions...)

I like it! I doubt I could walk through the woods AND play chromatic at the same time. There might be a collision with a tree! ;D

Maybe this harmonica is raucus because it's in the key of D, just a tone above the C Tenor, but I love to play lower notes, they resonate in my skull.
Owever, because this week I was on holiday, I made another noodle recording. The song is Je so' pazzo by Pino Daniele, a 1979 italian blues song, one of the few with chromatic harmonica in the intro (in the original it was played by Bruno De Filippi, one of the best italian chromatic harmonica player). After the intro, the song uses just a pentatonic scale, so I tryed to play it like a classic Chromatic harmonica blues.

Holidays are over, but during last walk in the woods playing harmonica I felt like a "harmonica marching one-man band". I'd like to develop this concept...

Maybe walking playing leads me to play any song as a march: I tried to play a waltz and I was falling down :D

Yeah, you'll have that! ;D ;D
I remember when I used to walk a mile around Kiwanis Lake out here in northern Ohio ::) I would always end up singing a song in my head to what ever tempo I was getting from me feet! ;D

This time I tryed to play with harmonica in one hand, smartphone in the other, and biscuits in both hands, to keep attention and love from my dog. The song is "Parlami d'amore Mariù" very romantic Italian old song.

Maybe he's broken, I'll ask for a refund  ;D
He barks only to ambulance and bells, he never reacts to the sound of harmonica. So I'm thinking to going busking with him, beacuse people are more generous when there are any pet involved in the show, but I think that I'll need a lot of biscuits to mantain his attention high (for now the average is just a minute of attention for a single biscuit)

"I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus" is one of the funniest Christmas song I know. This is my trial to arrange it for solo harmonica.

Usually my dog never barks or howl when I play, but if he doesn't like the song, he goes in another room. This time I mesmerized him with a slice of ham because he was triying to get off the home-made reindeer horns :)

Yeah when I wuzza kid, I had two Toy Manchesters that would howl in harmony when I played. They also came running into the front room when "Dragnet" came on to do the same thing. (they wouldn't miss it. Sometimes I think they waited for it all week :))

Yeah a lot of us old farts grew up watching shows like that. (Deep sigh!  ::))  The dialog was classic! I usta notice things like Joe Friday carried a snub-nosed 38 and Frank Smith carried what looked like a 5 (or maybe 6") nickel plated model 10 or 13 S&W, so I always figured Frank was probably a better shot. ;D
