Whishing you all a splendid holiday season, whether that be with or without slides, as long as it's just the way you like it!

Thanks Hein - you are really finding your way around that slideless mouthpiece now 8).

I believe I’m getting a non-slider this Christmas and I see they now sell the mouthpiece so I might convert my orchestra tuned deluxe steel 😊
One day I’ll be able to bend a note 😀

I’ve recently decided to learn to play bass to be able to play with the kids.
It would be cool to have one of these or one of Vern’s  hands free harmonicas in a rack to jam along with myself.
Maybe I’ll start with a looper pedal. That might be easier. But this looks like a simple solid method.

What cover plates does the non-slider share with other Seydel Chromatics if any?

It's basically a Deluxe Steel chromatic, so if anything else fits that, should fit the Non Slider too.

(I'm still tempted to 'convert' mine into orchestra tuned, just haven't got around to it yet. :) )

SLIDEMeister is just that. The first word is SLIDE (and that's also the "last word."  ::))

I don't do muddy waters, (pardon the pun) hair splitting, blurring the lines, gray areas, get caught up in semantics or word games. If it doesn't have a slide, (with the exception of the traditional "orchestral" harmonicas) sorry, but I gotta draw the line somewhere, so it goes wherever SlideMeister decides to put it.

Ha, ha, not a problem for me.... ;)

Just having somewhere to chat about them is good enough.

P.S. I still play my sliders more than my nonslider, but it's nice to have/use on occasion, as are the valveless.  ;D
