I've been in an on-going war with my email program (Thunderbird on a Mac) and and my contact system (the red text below this post) but I think I might actually have it licked. I'd appreciate anyone who might wanna click on it to send me a note just to see if I have it nailed. 8)

Yep! That's the contact page that forwards a message to me. It's working now. The problem I was having is that Thunderbird was seeing it as SPAM and even deleting some of it.

Yea, those Mac jobbies even seem to work in dialog boxes that only allow plain text.

They have their good points but after reading your comments about them over time I'll stay away from Macs.

Yeah, if it wasn't for GarageBang, I don't think I' have any use for Macs.  Lately PCs are getting just as bad; waaaaay too nosey too. I guess that's why I keep messing around with getting linux to work for me; except Linux ain't for dummys either, regardless of how they try to pedal it. Just installing it needs ya to have a degree of some sort. Mine crashed and it said it was my fault even though I never even did anything with it yet. Oh well, maybe some day. ::)

I'm Mac all the way. I don't do a lot of what youse guys do, app wise, but I have very few problems.

Everything you do (including software updates) has to go through the Apple store, and three times already, they got my creds screwed up, they want everything to go through the "cloud" or whatever)  I keep my own backups and I don't trust any of my info to anyone but myself.  Now, especially with windows 11, microsoft ain't any better. I dunno, man! That's why Linux is looking better all the time. Guess I'm justa cranky old fart. :(  Scary part is that i'm startin' to enjoy it. :)
