I talked to Mr. Fujiwara, and as of now, that outfit in Japan are the only ones handling them. He says there are 700 pros in Japan already using them. Hey, they work. If I put all three batteries in mine, they can double as hand warmers for about an hour. ;D ;D

While at home I keep one of my favorite Chromatics on my desktop Monitor base, keeps it at the right temp. Otherwise the armpit works for me. I think I learned the monitor idea from Age a few years ago when I first found SlideMeister

And if I were a pro, I would buy one.
I would get a DM 48 while I was at it.

I sit at my desk and play often. I use backing tracks that I’ve recorded onto my computer. I find that if I switch out instruments and put the “cool” one on my modem that it warms it nicely.
“Just here to harp on chromatics!”

Yeah, another good place is the place on your notebook where the CPU cooling fan blows out.

I've just finished reading this entire thread; there are some great ideas here. What I am thinking  :o , won't help while you're playing, but for pre-heating and keeping a number of harps warm while on a gig, this might be the ticket: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RJGNS64?tag=nozamas-20. They're available in lots of sizes, and some can run on 12VDC (your vehicle on the way to the gig), or 120 VAC, for while on the gig.

Anyone using something like this?

They're not easy to come by, but I still like these best:

If it's cold weather and the heat for the house is turned on, I just place my chrom on the radiator before playing. A few minutes on each of the four sides for uniform warming up.

Another no-brainer is (unless you use a "desktop") is to put the Chrombo, with the back of it facing the CPU cooling fan output of your notebook on the desk. There's usually more than enough heat there to keep the instrument well above body temperature. Besides that, it even "blows" (not just radiates) so it also works pretty fast.
