Hi Kids!
The stuff I write about here is not only important, but may change from time to time. Unfortunately many members still ignore these. :-[   Just about everything you want to know is here somewhere; all you have to do is read stuff!!! You're doing so will make this forum run smoother and faster. (We're already pushing the limits of the forum's software as it is ;) ) You folks with those cool SlideMeister designations get no special treatment either, just as you folks with a bunch of posts under your belt (who, should really know better) :P :-[  Even if you think you know them all, a quick review now and then will keep you up to speed. ;)

Okay, here are all the news items in one post: (might even wanna print this - I'll post a message on the "Read'em or Weep" board if I add something)

1.   To join us, simply go to: www.forums.SlideMeister.com/index.php?action=register AND READ THE AGREEMENT, CHOOSE A USERNAME AND PASSWORD AND CLICK THE "REGISTER" BUTTON. I USUALLY ANSWER ALMOST IMMEDIATELY WITH AN APPROVAL AND A NOTE EXPLAINING BASIC PROCEDURES.  IMPORTANT! (Check your SPAM/Junk box to be sure not to miss it) 

2.   ANY MEMBER WITH LESS THAN 16 POSTS IS CONSIDERED JUST THAT (A MEMBER) Kinda like a "GUEST ON STEROIDS" Joining as a "supporting member OTH will get you some goodies including posting privileges. Goto: https://www.SlideMeister.com/newjoin.html

3.    PERSONAL MESSAGING ("P.M.") IS A PREMIUM FEATURE (just one of the cool perks given to SUPPORTING members) FOR DETAILS, GO TO  http://SlideMeister.com/support.html.     

4.    Quitting. You are free to quit at any time, but please don't do it on a whim, if you do for other than medical, relocation or other "non-drama" reasons, you will not be allowed to return, ever. (we don't do drama at SlideMeister) :P

Anyone who applies to join SlideMeister, ~I~ personally research and ~I~ personally approve, so don't please join SlideMeister on a whim, okay?

5.   Whenever you contact SlideMeister (or A.J.Fedor) for account related information of any kind, be sure to use the same email address and/or username associated with your SlideMeister account; so I can find you on the roster. If I can't find you; your request goes "out into the draught" (i.e.: in the pooper) :P

6.  Political and potentially inflammatory subject matter. Yeah, I know; Nowadays, what isn't? :P However, one needn't be some kind of diplomat to know what is, or is not potentially provocative. C'mon! SlideMeister may be the world's best example of a "global community" with a common interest. We ALL have opinions that might in fact "fly in the faces" of others" (especially those on opposite sides of "isle," or the globe for that matter) but if we can't rise above that fact, and continue to get along, there's no hope for mankind on this planet, and I might as well just pull the plug!! So, threads that I see "morphing ugly," "going sour," or "going south" (regardless of the content, O.P., or number of posts contained therein)  :-\ will be deleted in their entirety.

7.   Okay, on this forum, all product/service related communication between product/service providers and members is considered "Commercial" and should be done by private email, OR on the "COMMERCIAL SITES" board. This type of post will be deleted as soon as I see it and violators will probably even get severely yelled at.  Ha Ha!

8.  WANT ADS HERE
Any Supporter can post a WANT AD here by simply submitting it to: mail@SlideMeister.com  We will post the ad on the CLASSIFIEDS board, and readers who contact me at mail@SlideMeister.com will be directed to the want ad poster's email address. Once we do that, we (SlideMeister) are out of the picture; the buyer and seller take it from there. SlideMeister will not be responsible for anything other than sharing the "seeker's" contact info. 9.  On any given board, be sure to read the "locked topics" (they are the ones in blue or red) Most boards will have a locked topic called: "About This Board"  Be sure to read them as they describe the board, along with the rules/guidelines on that board.

11.   PLEASE MAKE A CONSCIOUS EFFORT TO KEEP THREADS ON TOPIC, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE THE AUTHOR OF THAT THREAD. THIS WILL ADD TO THE EFFICIENCY OF THE FORUM.
