I missed "International Talk Like. a Pirate Day" but not this one :-[
HAPPY CANADIAN THANKSGIVING DAY!
 Do you folks do turkeys up there like we do down here in Yankee-land?

Oh yeah, my calendar also sez it's Columbus Day here in the states. (whatever that's sposta means anymore) :P

Yeah, Robert Newton was one of the most innovative actors out there. (If what I read about him was true) He reportedly developed an iconic "pirate character" on the fly (just for the part he was asked to play, that has yet to outdone.

Reliable sources tell me that; Canuks do indeed feast on Turkey for the occasion. Since the majority of them live within an hour of the border with the land of E Pluribus Unum, many double dip and celebrate the US Thanksgiving as well. Gobble and gobble, eh!

I prolly double dip too if I were closer. I'm only 129 miles from Canada, but 84 miles of that distance is "Lake Erie." ;D
