If you've been wondering what's going on with @ge, he had a storm go through his neighborhood and his power lines as well as trees, telephone poles and ever cheerful attitude are all down. So keep your fingers crossed and keep him in your prayers so he gets back online

Thanks Danny. Tropical storm Debbie has rained on us for a few days but ok so far. She’s regrouping to make a pass through South Carolina tomorrow. Hopefully it’ll be a harmless trek.

We had the usual flooding. But nothing serious. Praying for all in the path.

Been thinking about Age and his BW. I used to live in nearby Chagrin Falls (yes, that's its real name), and it must have taken the brunt of Debbie too.

Vermont has had some serious flooding in the past from storms, but my little section on our road has been unaffected. Not a miracle, just geographical.

Saturday is a family get together near Canton, not far from Age and Danny.  We drove there this evening planning on getting a hotel room.  Well as my luck would have it not a room to be had all the way to Cleveland.  Was told due to flooding and power outage issues all rooms are taken.  We had to drive south several miles to get the last room they had.  I had no idea there would be weather related problems this far north.

The nice thing about Fla. ? (If there IS one). Place is flat as a pancake. Driving to McDonald's t'other day, there was 4" of water on the roads. A mile later I got to McD's and there was still 4". In fact, you could go 16.85 miles in any direction and there would still be 4".

Be bak after I get it all straightened out.

Welcome back, Age. Chaos has a way of turning into order. Admittedly the first steps can be rough. I'm thinking about my book avalanche on April 1 (perfect timing calendarwise). Just got rid of the last of em on Friday.

We had some really bad weather here...horrendous downpours late at night 3 days in a row. I had no idea it had breached the roof until Fred let me know there was a leak in the ceiling of a bedroom he hadn't bothered to tell me. This was a brand-new roof we'd had put in (30+Timberline roof) when we added the new garage and upstairs! I think he was afraid I'D blow a fuse, lol. So now a guy he knows came to look at it: said the roofers had put a nail all the way through into the attic and water was coming in that specific hole. I'm not about to climb up to view it, but they'll fix it if and when they can get up there. Grrr, Fred's had some medical issues (me too - both scheduled to see a spinal specialist) and both of our dogs have been to the vet more times than I can count, so I've been taking care of them. I'm pretty sure my SlideMeister dues are now overdue, Age? I'm unsure where to send a check - don't think you have PayPal any longer? Can you let me know?

Hope you and Barbara are both doing well.  Been thinking about you.
Love and Hugs,
