Personal Messaging is only available to
supporting members. I discontinued the Personal messaging feature for
regular members because it caused way too much confusion. Personal messaging is now a "premium feature," and for all intents and purposes, only works between members with
supporter designations.
Remember, if you get a
personal message notification in your email program,
DO NOT just hit the return button; go to your SlideMeister account and answer it from there, otherwise I'm going to get it, and I don't think you want that. Besides, I really don't want to go back to fielding everyone's personal mail again. (way too awkward
) I
used to answer a few of those every week with a nice letter to both parties, explaining how
not to use the feature.
That was before I got this cranky; now I just smile, mutter something derogatory and delete it,
leaving whoever sent you the message to think that you're an ignorant bozo what blew them off, and all kinds of nasty things about you and your ancestry.
Bwaaahahahah! Now it's actually fun!
. Learn how the PM feature works (which is pretty cool, BTW) and use for all it's worth.
Also we're not an email service. Using the "open" forum for sending personal messages is "verboten." There's a little envelope under each member's profile on the left of their posts. Just click on that and you can email them whatever you want to say that has nothing to do with conversations on the forum.
