Some new players here might not know that he is the genius behind the Adler Trio - which has Michal Adler as lead chromatic player after the retirement of her Dad as long-time lead player. (Dror is her Uncle). They came to Spah a couple of times but unfortunately, before my time so I missed getting to see or meet them. I'm a huge fan of Michal's playing--she was the only other woman in my list of TOP players along with Risa Minami. But Dror is one of those innovative geniuses who designs special mics for harmonicas (including chromatics - and the one Michal uses), as well as his brilliant chord work.

Very cool dude.

Btw - Dan Adler posted Michal's latest video on my facebook timeline: It's written in Hebrew so I can't translate it. She's on a gorgeous beach looking as stunning as ever, playing her harmonicaS!

Thanks! I discovered Risa long ago when she posted on YouTube under a pseudonym--and with only photos of flowers, no vids of herself or even photos! She seemed veyr shy about her playing. Finally she emerged from that cocoon a full-fledged stunning butterfly of a chromaticist. It's really nice to discover 'new' players (at least to us over here in the West). I'd love to see Michal do more solo stuff as well, but I do enjoy her playing with the Adler Trio. They have a subtle sense of humour which comes through in the newer vids after Michal joined as lead player.

I appreciate your tech help in how to 'right click' for the video url.  Nothing I'd tried before worked since it wouldn't 'scan'. My main problem then was: now how do I get it onto SlideMeister from facebook with my computer problems, lol. But with your help today I managed and here's Michal!
